With over 20 years of combined event planning experience, the team of Southern
Panache is here to walk with you every step of the way during the planning of
your special day. Employing two event coordinators, Brigitte G. Adley and Kim
C. Carmichael, the team has intimate knowledge and first hand experience having
planned weddings, corporate events, in home parties, fundraisers, and more.
Brigitte G. Adley- A native of
Louisiana
, Brigitte and her husband moved to the Upstate in 2000, where she continued
her work with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in fundraising and event
planning. In 2005, she embarked on a new adventure as owner of one of the Upstate
premier gift shops, Satter’s Creek. Having an intimate hand in still planning
many events for friends, it was only a natural progression to combine her love
of event planning and her incredible attention to detail by forming Southern Panache
with friend and former ADA employee, Kim C. Carmichael.
Kim C. Carmichael- Having come from South Florida to attend Furman University, Kim fell in love
with the Upstate and made it her permanent home upon acceptance of an event planning
and fundraising position with a local non-profit after graduation. Her skills
and knowledge as an event planner were further honed after coming to work for
Brigitte and the American Diabetes Association in 2001. Having left
ADA
in 2006, Kim is excited that her and Brigitte are still able to work together
while utilizing the skills and knowledge of event planning with the attention
to customer service that made them such a great team at the
ADA
.
Together, this dynamic duo offers extensive knowledge in etiquette, food &
beverage, event designs and themes and effective event management so that you
can be a guest at your own party! |
